Youth Leadership Training Program

Building self-confidence and resilience in young people

As a parent, carer or educator you want your children to have a brighter future with better prospects, more confidence and self-esteem.

You’re not alone.

I was once a very shy child who didn’t have the confidence or courage to participate in school activities or even raise my hand in class to answer questions. For the next 30 years I always felt as if I wasn’t good enough.

Ever since I developed and built my confidence I vowed that young children should not ever experience those feelings of inadequacy. I ensured my three children participated in public speaking training. I wanted them to find their voice at a young age. They are now independent young adults who hold leadership roles in their careers.

I made it my mission to help shy kids overcome the feelings of inadequacy that I endured for a long time, empowering them with the confidence to speak, whether one-on-one or in front of large audiences.

Join me on this mission and explore how this proven approach is empowering confident, resilient students around Australia.

What others are saying

“Our school’s history is now full of wonderful success stories – students taking on leadership positions in secondary school and being wonderful role models in the workplace – and it can be largely contributed to Aileen’s Youth Leadership Program”

John

Principal, Maccelsfield Primary School

The program itself is transformational, taking shy, nervous, introverted kids and within 10 weeks giving them the confidence to not only speaking in front of large audiences, but also skills in speech writing, etiquette and the art of giving speeches.”
